 “La Bell’ Italia”Centerpiece
An exquisite ceramic pedestal plate handcrafted and hand painted in a family-owned shop on Palermo’s sunny seaport. Beautiful Italian design in muted tones of blue, green, coral and yellow on a light background. A stunning addition to the home long after the contents are removed.  Perfect for fruit or floral display.


 Cruets 
For sweet honey and cream or flavored oils and vinegars, the cruets are made and painted by hand in the same shop as the Centerpiece.



Memento Box
In a charming pattern coordinated with the pedestal plate and cruets, this ceramic piece can hold sugar packets on the dining table or a special  jewel in the bedroom.


Il Sole
A handpainted burst of sunshine on an 18-inch sterling silver chain, made by a local artist in Corleone.


Mosaic
Painstakingly handcrafted in an artisans’ enclave in Monreale, this pretty mosaic is not painted but made of a variety of rocks in their natural color, formed into a beautiful bouquet.




The Gourmet Food     
A sampling of gourmet foods from Sicily’s Italian, Greek, Arabic, Spanish and Norman origins that have melded over the centuries to create a delectable cuisine that is simple, sensual and satisfying.

Olive Oil with Mixed Spices  No fresher, fruitier, tastier oil exists on the planet.  From Borgetto,  a tiny  village in central Sicily.
Anelletti Pasta by Antica Corleone, a small round shape perfect for salads or broths.
Sugo con Sarde e Finnochio 
Sardines and wild fennel sauce for the quintessential Sicilian dish.  Serve over linguini with crusty garlic bread.

é di Pomodoro Cherry tomato paté.  Spread over cream cheese on a cracker, on a tuna sandwich or tossed with ricotta and hot pasta.
Formaggio in Olio  Pecorino cheese in oil. Straight from the jar is best – indescribable!

é di Funghi  Terrific on a char-broiled hamburger.
Il Tonno  White amber jack filet of tuna packed in olive oil.  Layer on French bread with chopped onions and tomato paté.
Cipolle in Agrodolce  Sweet and sour onions are the perfect accompaniment to beef tenderloin, pork roast or a frittata.

é di Aglio  Garlic Paté for phenomenal garlic bread or added to almost any recipe for authentic Italian taste.
Pepperoncino Macinato in Olio  Ground hot chili peppers in oil,  for the devil in everyone.
Miele con Fragole Sulla honey with wild strawberries - a sweet and sensuous delight  Spoon over fruit, ice cream or pound cake for a simple but elegant dessert.
Miele con Mandorle  Plump roasted almonds drenched in honey made in the ancient Greek city of Sciacca.  For an unusual appetizer, spoon over a warm smoked cheese such as Scamorza.  
Antica Dolceria Bonajuto  Two chocolate bars from Modica, one flavored with vanilla, one with cinnamon.  Grate over ice cream for a tasty topping.
Capicollo Rustico  A  white fig “sausage” with nuts and fruit flavoring.  Slice and serve alone or with butter cookies.
Assorted Chocolates and Candies Light and dark, nuts and nougats.   A variety of sweet confections sprinkled throughout the basket.
Almond Pastries  Sweet almond puffs from the groves of Catania, in the valley of Mt. Etna
